Cloud Service at Transputec

Cloud computing is one of the most talked about topics in the industry today. Some sectors call it Shared Services, Software as a Service, and Application Service Providers. No matter what you call it, the definition of cloud computing depends largely on whether you are a consumer or corporate customer.
The public cloud is geared more for the individual consumer or very small company, while the private (or hybrid) cloud is more relevant for a medium-to-large enterprise.
In many ways, cloud computing is simply a metaphor for the Internet, the increasing movement of computing and data resources away from your own infrastructure and onto the Web. It delivers higher efficiency, massive scalability, and faster, easier software development. It's about new IT infrastructure, and the enabling of new business models.
